Despite losing my sight at 23 and later surviving kidney failure and life-threatening infections, I refused to let adversity define my future. I went on to work in customer service, HR, leadership and organisational development, becoming one of the ”first British-Pakistani in the UK to deliver management, leadership and diversity training solely from memory.”
I have delivered CMI leadership training, diversity and inclusion programmes, mentoring and coaching — including within policing environments — and advised the Home Office on disability legislation. I also served as a UNISON Branch Secretary, representing and leading staff.
Beyond speaking, I am an author (Chasing the Bean, 2015) and have built a six-figure property portfolio, proving what is possible with the right mindset.
My talks are powerful, authentic and practical — inspiring audiences to overcome adversity, lead with confidence and achieve excellence. I don’t just motivate — I create lasting impact.
